Traditional Art

Traditional Mediums have and will always hold a big place in my heart. I continue to explore new physical mediums and find ways to incorporate them into my digital design work.

Linocut

Linocut prints are done by carving into a slab of linoleum. The planning of a design is tricky as you have to design the image backwards to insure it prints in the correct way.

Pointillism Self Portrait

A self portrait done in the pointillism style with Acrylic paints.

The Liquid Lady

The was a done in marker and a white pencil. They were fresh markers and I wanted to give them a good test run.

Wood Panel Mermaid

This was from a series of wood panel paintings I did. I stained the wood with acrylic and focused on the background with just a silhouette to note the subject.
